Does blur redaction make data truly unrecoverable?
Full-image blur makes text unreadable at normal blur levels (10+). For maximum security, use a high blur value (20+) or cover sensitive areas with an opaque shape.
Can I blur only part of the screenshot?
Yes. Draw a rectangle over the area you want to obscure, then click "Apply blur to selection". You can repeat the process to blur multiple areas.
What blur levels are available?
1 to 20. Level 5 is a subtle blur. Level 15+ makes text completely unreadable.
Will the blurred image be the same size as the original?
Yes. Blur is a filter applied to pixels — it does not change image dimensions or resolution.
